Polysorbate 80. MONTANOX™ 80 PPI by Seppic acts as an emulsifier to formulate o/w emulsions but also as hydrophilic solubilizers for active ingredients with low solubility. It is composed of monoesters of lauric, stearate or oleic fatty acids. It is stable in acidic or basic media and in presence of electrolytes. It is compatible with other surfactants and produce highly stable emulsions. MONTANOX™ 80 PPI is used in cosmetic products.
