Polysorbate 80. MONTANOX™ 80 API by Seppic acts as an emulsifier to formulate oil in water emulsions but also as hydrophilic solubilizers for active ingredients with low solubility. It is composed of monoesters of lauric, stearate or oleic fatty acids and has very low water quantity. It is stable in acidic or basic media and in presence of electrolytes. It is compatible with other surfactants and produce highly stable emulsions. MONTANOX™ 80 API is used in cosmetic products.
