Techpolymer™ MBP by Sekisui Plastics can be used as a cosmetic filler to prevent makeup from smearing and stickiness due to superior oil absorption coming from high surface area. It is a cross-linked, porous, polymethyl methacrylate sensory modifier which offers pleasant touch. It enhances cosmetic product functions with its excellent lubrication, better texture, light diffusion, adsorption and soft-focus effects (wrinkle cover-up). Techpolymer™ MBP is recommended for skin care products. It is available in 2 forms namely MBP-8 and MBP-8HP based on the difference in their oleic acid absorption data.
