Cellulose (and) Pentylene Glycol (and) Glyceryl Caprylate (and) Aqua. Valida S+ K8 by Sappi acts as a stabilizer, co-thickener and skin feel enhancer. It is a highly fibrillated cellulose in water suspension. It is a 100% natural, biodegradable ingredient derived from wood pulp sourced from sustainability managed, PEFC-certified forests.
  • It is a multifunctional, bio-based rheology modifier used in aqueous systems, oil-in-water emulsions, serums, creams as well as colored formulations.
  • It stabilizes formulation without thickening and provides moisturizing & fresh skin-feel, quick break and improved sensorial properties without greasy & tacky feel.
  • It is sprayable with no drip and is highly thixotropic with excellent shear thinning properties.
  • Its unique 3D network structure allows stabilization of lightweight or dense particles like fragrance oils or ZnO, with minimal impact on viscosity.
  • At an increased dosage, Valida S+ K8 can act as a thickener and shows synergy with co-thickeners.
  • It also offers SPF-boosting, stabilizes highly loaded mineral & chemical sunscreens and creates non-whitening formulation that is easy to spread.
  • It increases foam stability due to its high yield stress, creating dense, creamy and longer-lasting foam of natural surfactants.
  • It is used in skin-, body-, sun-, hair-, baby care and other leave-on & rinse off formulas.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
