Polyquaternium-10. Acts as a thickening and anti-static agent. It is a high quality cationic hydroxyethyl cellulose derivative with nitrogen content which is very substantive to skin and hair. It is especially useful for protecting and strengthening damaged hair from many treatment processes and UV damage. It helps in moisturizing, lustering and overall manageability upon absorption. It can be good texturizing agent which can make combing and styling easy. Thickens with various inorganic salts and over a wide pH range. Does not influence the color of final product. Used in shampoos, conditioners, body soaps, hair straighteners, depilatory creams, hand lotions, and soaps.
