Polyquaternium-10. Polyquta 125KC by Samyang KCI is a plant-sourced thickener, film-forming, hair-protecting, and conditioning agent. It is a functional material cationic polymerized with hydroxyethyl cellulose which enhances the appearance and feel of hair by increasing hair's body.
  • It improves the texture of hair that has been damaged physically or by chemical treatment.
  • It has similar effects to hair protein components and enhances the appearance and feel of hair by increasing hair's body.
  • It has a substantive moisturizing and lustering effect on hair and prevents static electricity.
  • It is low toxic and irritating with excellent compatibility with surfactants and applies to various transparent products.
  • It has a smooth and fine texture which makes combing and styling easy.
  • The viscosity of the final product can be controlled with a small amount of use.
  • It is stable with various inorganic salts over a wide pH range and easily dissolves in water at low temperatures.
  • Polyquta 125KC is used in shampoos, hair conditioners, shaving products, bath gel, shower gels, skin and hair (creams and lotions), and personal care products for infants.
