Aqua (94-96%) (and) Polyquaternium-51 (4-6%). Hydroquat™ 510NPKC by Samyang KCI is an easy to apply skin-barrier, moisturizing agent and sensory enhancer. It improves the function of the stratum corneum by acting as a corneocyte and suppressing the skin irritancy by surfactants.

• It is a high-purity stable synthetic polymer and does not accumulate in the body.
• It has a phosphoryl choline structure mimicking the cell membrane of a corneocyte.
• It provides good skin adhesion property to cosmetics.
• It increases moisture content in the skin and reduces the TEWL.
• It dramatically reduces the greasy sensation and provides excellent smooth-silky textures in formulations without dryness.
• It is hot and cold processable, offers good compatibility with electrolytes and stability to a wide range of pH.
• Hydroquat™ 510NPKC is used in lotion, cream, skin conditioner, clear and pearlescent shampoos, anti-dandruff shampoo, hair conditioner, bath gels and cleansers, sunscreen, and baby care (shampoo, lotion, cream).
