Diglycerin. Diglycerin by Sakamoto Yakuhin kogyo acts as a solvent and moisturizing agent. It is a highly pure polyol with four hydroxyl groups. It can be used as a raw material for fatty acids. It provides softness, smoothness, moist feel and gloss. It improves quality of lather and offers warmth feeling to the skin. Diglycerin is used in skin lotions, milky lotion, creams, shampoo, hair conditioners, hair styling products, massage gels, make-up removers, facial wash and body wash formulations.
