Vita Catiogel®

Vita Catiogel® by Quimivita acts as a thickener, rheology modifier and suspension agent. It is a non-GMO, non-ionic, natural hydrocolloid based on carob tree (Ceratonia Siliqua) seeds. It combines succinic acid & arginine, both obtained by fermentation, and a high molecular weight polysaccharide (specifically a galactomannan) based on refined locust bean gum. It provides high viscosity, fine granulation and improved natural feel of hair care cosmetics.

• It forms typically slightly translucent to transparent solutions.
• In combination with other hydrocolloids, it acts as a stabilizer in gels, lotions & emulsions, and can improve gel strength.
• It shows compatibility with cationic agents and stability in a wide pH stability range of 4-8.
• Vita Catiogel® is used in conditioners, rinse-off, leave-on, shampoos and styling products.
