The extract is rich in the natural polymethoxylated flavone, Tangeretin that exhibits a number of important bioactive uses in skin care. It protects the skin from inflammation caused by enzymes that can degrade skin collagen in anti-aging and sun care products. Its effects may help to reduce the dark circles around the eyes caused by blood platelet clumping (Platelet Aggregation Factor).
