Castor Oil/IPDI Copolymer (and) Caprylic/capric Triglyceride. EstoGel® by PolymerExpert is an easy-to-disperse, preservative-free, oil thickening agent. This oil gelling agent is 93% bio sourced from castor oil. It helps the formation of clear gels with a very good suspensive ability at low concentration. This ingredient possesses thixotropic effect and stabilizes W/O emulsions. It provides soft & silky touch and soft to hard gel formation depending on the concentration. The gelation phenomenon is based on supramolecular chemistry using hydrogen bonding. It gelifies polar oils, 80% non-polar mixed with polar oil, glycols and fragrances. It is suitable for EO free solutions. EstoGel® is used in sprayable oily gel, glittered gel, gloss, balm, cream W/O and gel with fragrance. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
