Macare® PQ-130

Solution of Poly (methacrylamidopropyl trimethyl ammonium) chloride in water. Macare® PQ-130 by Mason Chemical acts as film forming and substantivity agent. It reflects a unique high molecular weight cationic homopolymer with flexible hold at low use concentrations. It provides effective conditioning without build-up and possesses anti-static and softening properties. Also effective as cationic emulsifier and imparts dry combing, detangling and fly away reducing properties, while building volume and sheen, especially with colored, permed, sun dried and damaged hair. It is a non-greasy, salt-free product with greater cationic charge density than found in traditional hair/skin care quaternaries. Macare® PQ-130 is used in creams, lotions and in other personal care products. Also used in conditioners and relaxers, conditioning & voluminizing shampoos, skin lotions, styling gels, mousses and sprays. Complies with REACH.
