Isododecane (and) Acrylates Copolymer. GIOVAREZ® AC 5099M by Phoenix Chemical is a film former. It is a clear, almost water-white liquid, which dries to a glossy,
continuous, hard, water-insoluble film. When formulated into cosmetic products, the polymer film becomes more flexible due to oils and esters present in the formulated product which acts as plasticizers for the acrylic film. GIOVAREZ® AC 5099M is used in mascara, eye liner products, barrier creams, lipstick and make-up.
