Polycitronellol Acetate (>99%). Citropol® HA by P2 Science is a bio-renewable and biocompatible emollient. It is inherently biodegradable according to the OECD 301B Biodegradability test. It is a bio-based, non-GMO, and gluten-, paraben-, phthalate- and sulfate-free polymer with a non-volatile, silicone-like sensory profile. It is sustainably manufactured from naturally-derived terpenes. It possesses medium viscosity, light weight feel and very low E-factor. It is a viable clean alternative to non-volatile dimethicone-5. Imparts distinct lubricating properties with rich shine and feel when used as low as 1% in personal care and cosmetics formulations. It is a “Clean Label”, long-lasting, slippery, non-greasy ingredient free of food allergens. Suggested for shower gel, shampoo, hair styling products, body lotion, face cream, hand cream, liquid foundation and lipstick/ lip balm. It is also used in skin care, hair care, non-spray (roll-on stick) deodorant & deodorant spray, antiperspirant, and color cosmetic applications. Citropol® HA is Kosher and Vegan certified. It is 95.0% natural according to ISO 16128 Standard. The shelf life of this ingredient is one year (2-year and 3-year stability studies are pending completion).
