It is inherently biodegradable according to the OECD 301B Biodegradability test. It imparts a creamy, smooth feel and prevents moisture loss. It can easily modify rheology of medium & high viscosity personal care formulations and is non-irritating to the skin. It is suggested for lip care, skin care and hair care applications, and does not compromise human and environmental safety. It is derived from sustainable feedstocks and is a viable natural alternative to petrolatum. This non-GMO grade is gluten-, paraben-, phthalate- and sulfate-free. Shelf life of Citrolatum™ C is 6 months. It is Vegan and Kosher certified.
