Heptanoic Acid. NPG Di-heptanoate (CQ) - Cosmetic Quality by OXEA is an emollient & slip agent. It is suitable for skin care, topical lotions & creams, sun care and deodrants.
  • It provides good spreadability and delivers a smooth, non-oily, silky feel.
  • It can be absorbed in to the skin quickly.
  • It also forms a protective layer that retains the skin’s inherent moisture and helps to prevent it from drying out.
  • It offers good solubility and ensures optimal spreading of the organic UV absorber which remains on skin after application.
  • Due to its structure, it also prevents a sunscreen from recrystallizing.
  • It also provides reduced tack, reduced greasy feeling.
  • It helps with the pigment dispersion on the skin that gives more skin coverage.
  • It shows excellent properties such as low surface tension, high lubricity, chemical stability, volatility and low viscosity.
  • It helps to prevent loss of moisture and washes out easily, thus avoiding build-up.
