Heptanoic Acid. NPG Di-heptanoate (CQ) - Cosmetic Quality by OXEA is an emollient & slip agent. It is suitable for skin care, topical lotions & creams, sun care and deodrants.
- It provides good spreadability and delivers a smooth, non-oily, silky feel.
- It can be absorbed in to the skin quickly.
- It also forms a protective layer that retains the skin’s inherent moisture and helps to prevent it from drying out.
- It offers good solubility and ensures optimal spreading of the organic UV absorber which remains on skin after application.
- Due to its structure, it also prevents a sunscreen from recrystallizing.
- It also provides reduced tack, reduced greasy feeling.
- It helps with the pigment dispersion on the skin that gives more skin coverage.
- It shows excellent properties such as low surface tension, high lubricity, chemical stability, volatility and low viscosity.
- It helps to prevent loss of moisture and washes out easily, thus avoiding build-up.
- It contributes to improve wet & dry combing.
