PEG-45/Dodecyl Glycol Copolymer. ELFACOS ST 9 by Nouryon acts as a rheology modifier and emulsifier. In decorative cosmetics, it acts as a binder for powders and provides improved color & pay-off in lipsticks. ELFACOS ST 9 has an excellent stabilizing effect and is hydrolytically stable and effective over wide pH ranges. Due to its high capacity to absorb water and oil, a relatively low percentage is needed in personal care formulations. Used in bath & shower products, antiperspirants/ deodorants, sun protection, skin creams and lotions. Complies with Australia, China, Europe (EINECS), New Zealand and USA (TSCA).
