Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer. AMPHOMER® 4961 by Nouryon acts as a film former. It is used in aerosol and pump hair sprays, mousses, setting lotions, spray gels and spritzes. It possess excellent humidity resistance and hold when used in anhydrous or 80% VOC hair sprays. It offers improved stiffness, durability and long-lasting hold. AMPHOMER® 4961 provides improved compatibility with thickening agents (e.g. carbomer) for hard holding styling gels and other styling aids. Complies with Australia, Canada and Europe.
