CHROMAZONE™

Punica Granatum Pericarp Extract. CHROMAZONE™ by Normactive is a natural active ingredient for long-lasting color protection and retention in dyed hair. It acts as a potent antioxidant having 3X higher capacity than Vitamin E. It is formulated in a cationic liposome-based delivery system which improves hair moisture balance, softness and strength. It penetrates into the hair shaft and releases antioxidant content, making it difficult for the hair to contact water and thus preventing color fading or bleeding. It is upcycled from pomegranate pericarp, a great source of active compounds such as flavonoids, complex polysaccharides, minerals and hydrolyzable tannins (punicalagin, ellagic acid and gallic acid). It contains a high level of phospholipids which exhibits high affinity to keratin and forms a film layer on the hair surface. It also protects the mechanical properties of dyed hair exposed to external aggressors. CHROMAZONE™ is recommended for hair care applications including shampoos & conditioners, leave-on & rinse-off treatments, styling products, post-chemical products and hair colorants.
