Velvesil™ DM LC gel

Dimethicone (and) Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. Velvesil™ DM LC gel by Momentive Performance Materials is an effective thickener for anhydrous formulations and the oil phase of emulsions. It is a non-emulsifying silicone copolymer network dispersed in dimethicone. It is used in creamy skin care and color cosmetic products that spread easily and leave an exquisite, long-lasting silky feel. It shows good compatibility and is suitable for clear gel formulations.

• It is a cold-processable, multifunctional, tack-free ingredient with low levels of cyclics.
• It exhibits shear thinning behavior and broad pH range stability.
• Velvesil™ DM LC gel is designed for BB and CC creams, concealers, eye- and lip products, foundations, loose- and pressed powders.
• It is recommended for body lotions, creams and butters, cleansing oils, day and night creams, facial- serums, oils and cleansers.
• It is also used in sun care products such as daily wear SPF and sunscreen creams, lotions, oils and sprays.
