• When combined with fast- and medium-spreading emollients, enables formulations with a smooth and well-balanced sensorial profile throughout application.
• It is a long-chain, non-polar, branched alkane derived from natural feedstocks, designed to meet the need for inert lipids.
• Structurally similar to squalane but with a longer chain, its oxygen-free branched structure helps minimize oxidation and unwanted interactions with other formulation components.
• It provides a slow-spreading, high-viscosity profile and remains liquid even at temperatures below –20°C, supporting stability across a wide range of conditions.
