Allantoin. Allantoin USP by McKinley Resources acts as a moisturizing-, soothing-, sunscreen-, smoothing- and anti-acne agent. It is an anti-irritant and skin protectant. It is an active ingredient which increases water content of extracellular matrix. It enhances desquamation of upper layer of dead skin cells. Allantoin USP is used in masks, lotions, creams, toothpaste, mouthwash and other oral hygiene products. It is also suitable for shampoos, lipsticks, sun care, clarifying lotions and anti-acne products.
