Dimethicone. Dimethicone Satin by MakingCosmetics is a satin conditioner and emollient. It is a mixture of low and high molecular weight linear silicones. It is made from dimethyldichlorosilane produced by powdered silicon (silicone dioxide) and methyl chloride. It imparts more cushion, greater slip along with a satiny after-feel. It takes out tackiness of products and is greatly moisturizing. It provides luxurious skin feels for creams and lotions. Dimethicone Satin is used in hair care products, shower gels, sun care, makeup and massage treatments. It is vegan certified and GMO- & preservative-free. The shelf life is 24 months.
