Guar Gum, 2-hydroxypropyl-2-hydroxy-3-trimethylammoniopropyl ether, chloride. Catcol® Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride hydroxypropyl by Lucid Colloids acts as a film forming, conditioning, thickening agent which offers richness, lubricity and foam stability. It is a chemically modified derivative of a polysaccharide galactomannan. It provides soft, luxurious after-feel and moisturization. It exhibits excellent salt and alcohol tolerance. It is compatible with most anionic and amphoteric surfactants. Catcol® Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is suggested for use in bubble bath, liquid hand soap, skin care – oil-in-water emulsions, aqueous based topical gels and ointments, shaving gels, body wash, wet wipes adults and babies, etc.
