Sensomer™ 10M polymer

Polyquaternium-10. Sensomer™ 10M polymer by Lubrizol is a dry cationic conditioning polymer optimized to work in combination with Merquat™ polymers. This highly compatible, naturally-derived cationic polymer is useful in a broad range of hair and skin care products. It is prepared by reacting trimethyl ammonium substituted epoxide with a hydroxyethyl cellulose backbone. It is a preservative-free product. It enables the formulation of clear surfactant-based products, forms clear, uniform, non-tacky films and highly compatible with common surfactants. In shampoos, it exhibits substantivity to hair cuticle without build up, improves hair smoothness during washing and rinsing, enhances detangling and imparts soft wet and dry hair feel. Sensomer™ 10M polymer in skin cleansing products delivers improved skin feel with substantive nature. It is China compliant-formerly CFDA.
