Pemulen™ TR-2 polymer

Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer. Pemulen™ TR-2 polymer by Lubrizol is an O/W emulsifier. It is a high molecular weight, crosslinked copolymer of acrylic acid and a hydrophobic C10-30 alkyl acrylate co-monomer. It is a versatile, non-ethoxylated polymer designed to create stable and mild, water-resistant oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. It is PEG-free and allows for cold or hot processing enabling flexible processing requirements. It offers enhanced sensory-light, refreshing and light residue. It can be used with Carbopol® polymers to provide greater thickening properties where higher viscosity emulsions are required. Pemulen™ TR-2 polymer is used in anti-aging formulas, body lotions/creams/gels, wipes and eye-, face-, hand-, foot- & sun care products. It is Halal certified and China compliant-formerly CFDA.
