Merquat™ S polymer

Polyquaternium-7. Merquat™ S polymer by Lubrizol is an aqueous, low acrylamide, cationic copolymer. It is highly compatible with anionic and amphoteric surfactant systems. It imparts a smooth, luster and velvety feel. In hair products, it improves wet and dry properties. It also provides excellent detangling and softness. Whereas, in skin care products, it enhances feel and improves slip and moisturization. In bath and shower products, it provides rich & creamy foam. It reduces tightness after drying. Merquat™ S polymer is used in formulating body wash, facial & mild cleansers, hand sanitizers, hand soaps, shampoos and styling & shaving products.
