Merquat™ 7SPR polymer

Polyquaternium-7. Merquat™ 7SPR polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioner, foam enhancer and sensory modifier. It is a non-paraben, low acrylamide, cationic copolymer. It imparts a smooth, luster and velvety feel. It is highly compatible with anionic and amphoteric surfactant systems. In hair products, it improves wet and dry properties. It also provides detangling and softness. Whereas, in bath and shower products, it enhances feel, and provides rich & creamy foam and excellent moisturization. It reduces tightness after drying. In skin care products, it improves slip. Merquat™ 7SPR polymer is used in formulating body wash, facial & mild cleansers, hand sanitizers and shaving products.
