Polyquaternium-7. Merquat™ 740 polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioning agent. It is a low molecular weight, non-paraben, aqueous, high solid, cationic copolymer. It provides improved compatibility and clarity in anionic surfactant systems. It improves wet & dry, and detangling properties of hair care products. It also enhances feel & luster and imparts a smooth, soft velvety feel. It improves slip and moisturization in skin care products. It provides rich, creamy foam in bath and shower products. It reduces tightness after drying. Merquat™ 740 polymer is used in relaxers, bleaches, dyes, shampoos, conditioners, styling products and permanent waves. Also used in moisturizing creams, lotions, bath gels, liquid soaps, soap bars, shaving products and antiperspirants & deodorants. It is China compliant-formerly CFDA and Halal certified.
