Carbopol® SC-200 polymer

Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer. Carbopol® SC-200 polymer by Lubrizol is a rheology modifier. It is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked polyacrylic acid polymer processed in a toxicologically-preferred co-solvent system. It provides long-term viscosity and formulation stability over a broad temperature range. It offers synergistic thickening and suspension in the presence of salt in soap-based systems, enabling formulations with high visual appeal. Moreover, it improves formulation aesthetics by offering enhanced flow properties. Carbopol® SC-200 polymer finds application in formulating body & hand washes, shampoos, hand soaps, intimate & mild personal cleansing products, mild cleansers and shaving products.
