Carbopol® ETD 2050 polymer

Supplied byLubrizol- Last Updated on Aug 15, 2020

Carbomer. Carbopol® ETD 2050 polymer by Lubrizol is a rheology modifier, suspending agent and thickener. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency, suspending capability and long flow rheology at low concentrations. It is a cross-linked polyacrylic acid homopolymer polymerized in a toxicologically-preferred co-solvent system. It provides excellent clarity, easy processing, low relative viscosity, high yield value, medium ion tolerance and low shear tolerance. Its easy-to-disperse technology reduces lumping for ease of dispersion in water. It allows low dispersion viscosity for easier pumping and handling before neutralization. Carbopol® ETD 2050 polymer is used in clear gels, hydroalcoholic gels, lotions, hand/foot care, insect repellant, sun care and wipes.
