Carbopol® ETD 2020 polymer

Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate cross-polymer. Carbopol® ETD 2020 polymer by Lubrizol is a thickener, rheology modifier and suspending agent. It is an easy-to-disperse, cross-linked polyacrylic acid copolymer polymerized in a toxicologically-preferred cosolvent system. It delivers excellent thickening efficiency and suspending capability, long viscous flow and sparkling clarity in gel systems. It provides rich creamy feel, easy processing and high resistance to dissolved electrolytes enabling formulation flexibility. It’s easy-to-disperse technology reduces lumping for ease of dispersion in water. It allows low dispersion viscosity for easier pumping and handling before neutralization. Moreover, it shows high compatibility with anionic surfactants imparting thickening and yield value. Carbopol® ETD 2020 polymer is used in body lotions/creams/gels, shampoos, wipes, hair coloring and styling products.
