Viscolam® B25

Acrylates/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer. Viscolam® B25 by Lamberti is an extremely effective acrylic thickener. It provides efficient thickening over a wide alkaline pH range with excellent stability in demanding and aggressive systems. It is highly pseudoplastic (shear thinning), with little thixotropy and quick recovery of viscosity after shear.

• Additionally, its shear-thinning behavior enables thick, gel-like formulations that are easy to apply.
At low pH, it retains its easy-to-handle, low viscosity, emulsion form.
• It is stable in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, while offering high salt tolerance.
• It achieves very high, stable viscosities from pH 6.5 through pH 13 and higher.
• It is designed for challenging personal-care formulations, including hair dyes, relaxers and depilatories.
