Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride. Esaflor® ZERO-X by Lamberti acts as a conditioner, detangler, viscosity modifier, thickener, foam booster and foam stabilizer. It is a crosslinker-free cationic bio-based derivative of guar gum, with medium cationic substitution.
  • The high-molecular-weight, water soluble structure creates viscosity both in aqueous and surfactant based solutions.
  • It is self-hydrating, requiring no pH adjustment for its dissolution in water.
  • It offers optimal conditioning properties for hair and skin care products, as well as deposition of water-insoluble actives.
  • It provides excellent detangling properties and enhanced hair feel.
  • It improves foam stability and the lubrication of creams.
  • It conveys a silky, soft and luxurious afterfeel and helps in reducing negative effects generally linked to harsh soaps and surfactants.
  • It is suitable for conditioning shampoos, everyday-use shampoos, 2-in-1 formulations, cream rinses, bath and shower products, and baby formulations and other personal care products.
  • It is used in liquid soaps, body washes, shaving gels and foams.
