C18-22 Hydroxyalkyl Hydroxypropyl Guar. Esaflor® HM 22 by Lamberti is an easy to use excellent thickener, viscosity modifier, emulsion stabilizer and suspension aid. It is used in a wide range of cosmetic formulations, from fluid milks to rich creams. It is also used as co-stabilizer in high salt content O/W emulsions, showing an excellent synergy with Viscolam® AT 100 P.
  • It is a hydrophobically modified, high molecular weight bio-based polymer, derived from guar gum.
  • As non-ionic, it can be used in combination with other non-ionic compounds, as well as with anionic and cationic substances.
  • It works in synergy with the most commonly used emulsifiers, helping delivering stable emulsions with tunable texture.
  • It shows a good compatibility with electrolytes completes its applicative behavior.
  • It is stable over a wide pH range.
  • It also ensures a smooth skin feel for a pleasant sensorial appeal.
  • It is suitable for the manufacture of EO-free creams or cleansing milk formulations.
  • Esaflor® HM 22 is used in body butter, body cream, body lotion, facial treatments, face cream, face lotion, face serum, baby lotion, baby sunscreen and moisturizers.
  • It is highly compatible with the skin leaving a soft silk feeling after application.
  • It is available globally except China.
