Esaflor® 4W

Hydroxypropyl Guar. Esaflor® 4W by Lamberti is a versatile thickener, stabilizer for O/W emulsions as well as a foam stabilizer, viscosity modifier and foam booster. It is designed for a wide-variety of cosmetics and personal care applications. It is a self-hydrating, easy to use, purified non-ionic, high molecular weight bio-based polymer, derivative of guar gum.

• It can be used in combination with other non-ionic compounds, as well as with anionic and cationic substances.
• It shows a good compatibility with electrolytes and stability over a broad pH range.
It provides excellent thickening properties, effective at low concentrations, especially in surfactant solutions.
• It is highly compatible with the skin, leaving a soft, smooth and silky feel after application and reducing the drying effect of alcohols.
• It displays a stronger foam stabilizing action compared to other natural or synthetic thickeners such as HEC, HPMC and acrylics.
• Esaflor® 4W is used in conditioners, creams, shampoos, liquid soaps and skin care.
