Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride. Acts as a very good conditioner and thickening agent for hair and skin formulations. Due to its cationic nature, it interacts with the horny skin layer, thus reducing negative effects of soaps and surfactants. Improves the stability of the foam and the lubrication of the creams when used at higher concentrations than 0.25 %. Is suggested as foam booster as well as substantivity agent in shampoos, balsams and liquid soap formulations.
