- Hydrogenation of the castor oil results in greater oxidative stability with improved color and odor characteristics.
- It is used to solubilize fragrances, essential oils, lipophilic actives, vitamins and hydrophobic compounds in water or in aqueous/alcoholic solutions.
- In order to ensure a clear aqueous solution, it is recommended to intimately mix the hydrophobic ingredient with ALPICARE COH/410 before the addition to the formulation.
