ALPICARE COH 40

PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. ALPICARE COH 40 by Lamberti is an ethoxylated non-ionic solubilizer and emulsifier for O/W emulsions. It is designed for the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products. Hydrogenation of the castor oil results in greater oxidative stability with improved color and odor characteristics.

• It is used to solubilize fragrances, essential oils, lipophilic actives, vitamins and hydrophobic compounds in water or in aqueous/alcoholic solutions.
• In order to ensure a clear aqueous solution, it is recommended to intimately mix the hydrophobic ingredient with ALPICARE COH 40 before the addition to the formulation.
