5a-Avocuta® T

Butyl Avocadate (and) Tocopherol. 5a-Avocuta® T by Laboratoires Expanscience acts as a sebo-regulating active. It is an upcycled ingredient, obtained by transesterification, a green chemistry process that concentrates the vegetable esters of the avocado oil. It reduces excessive sebum secretions from the scalp and skin. It reduces the shiny appearance of the T-zone and decreases dandruff. It strongly inhibits the activity of 5a-reductase (type 1), the enzyme that stimulates the sebaceous glands and their sebum secretion. 5a-Avocuta® T is ERI 360 certified.
