KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 LV

KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 LV by Kuraray is a highly reactive, biodegradable lubricant, film former and emulsifier. It is a crosslinkable, foamable and ultra-low MeOH containing polyvinyl alcohol for water-based personal care products. Designed for water-based personal care products, skin care applications like peel off mask and color cosmetics including mascara and brows. It also functions as an adhesion promotor, encapsulater and viscosity controller. It is a linear, crystalline polymer having high binding strength. Exhibits high pigment binding capacity, protective colloid characteristics and thickening effects. KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 LV is also used in sun care products, hair colorant and shampoo.
