KURARAY POVAL™ 40-88 LV by Kuraray acts as a lubricant, film former and emulsifier. It is a highly reactive, biodegradable, crosslinkable, foamable and ultra-low MeOH containing polyvinyl alcohol with high binding strength. Exhibits high pigment binding capacity, protective colloid characteristics and thickening effects. Designed for skin care applications like peel off mask and color cosmetics including mascara and brows. It also functions as a linear, crystalline adhesion promotor, encapsulater and viscosity controller. KURARAY POVAL™ 40-88 LV is also used in water-based personal care products, hair colorant, shampoo and sun care products.
