KURARAY POVAL™ 4-88 LV

KURARAY POVAL™ 4-88 LV by Kuraray is a crosslinkable, biodegradable, linear, crystalline, ultra-low MeOH containing polyvinyl alcohol. It functions as a film former, lubricant and emulsifier. Designed for skin care applications like peel off mask and color cosmetics including mascara and brows. Also acts as an adhesion promotor, encapsulater and viscosity controller. It is highly reactive and foamable with high binding strength. Exhibits high pigment binding capacity, protective colloid characteristics and thickening effects. KURARAY POVAL™ 4-88 LV is also used in sun care products, hair colorant, shampoo and water-based personal care products.
