KURARAY POVAL™ 26-88 LV

KURARAY POVAL™ 26-88 LV by Kuraray is a biodegradable, linear, crystalline, ultra-low MeOH containing polyvinyl alcohol for water-based personal care products. Acts as a lubricant, film former and emulsifier. It is a non-ionic, highly reactive, crosslinkable and foamable polymer with high binding strength. It also functions as an adhesion promotor, encapsulater and viscosity controller. Exhibits high pigment binding capacity, protective colloid characteristics and thickening effects. Designed for skin care applications like peel off mask and color cosmetics including mascara and brows. KURARAY POVAL™ 26-88 LV is also used in sun care products, hair colorant and shampoo.
