It is sericite that is surface treated with Kobo's patented ITT (isopropyl titanium triisostearate), which has good skin affinity, reduces oil absorption of powders and greatly improves the dispersibility of powders in various organic vehicles. GMS -I2 is a fine off-white powder, insoluble in water. GMS -I2 is used in non-greasy cream-to-powders, lipsticks, liquid foundations, eye shadows and sun care formulations. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, IECSC, KECL, EINECS, PICCS and AICS.
