Polysorbate 85. SYMPARE PS85 from KLK Kolb (part of KLK OLEO group) is a nonionic surfactant used in cosmetics as an emulsifier and dispersing agent.

• Functions as an emulsifier, helping to form and stabilize finely dispersed oil-in-water emulsions in creams, lotions and other personal care products.
• Acts as a solubilizer and dispersing agent, enabling essential oils, fragrances, colorants and other insoluble ingredients to be evenly distributed in formulations.
• Provides surfactant performance, lowering surface tension so that oils and dirt can be dissolved and removed gently from skin and hair. It also improves the rinseability of the product in which it's added.
• Used across a variety of cosmetic formats including body oils, skin care products, skin cleansers, lip-glosses, and other toiletry products such as teeth whitening products.
