PEG-10 Soy Sterol. Generol® 122 N E-16 by Kensing is an allergen-free, primary or auxiliary emulsifier with a tendency to form oil-in-water emulsions. It is a 16 mole ethylene oxide adduct of a refined grade of phytosterol obtained form edible soybean oil. Used as a stabilizer and consistency modifier which offers emolliency to skin care preparations. It lowers the viscosity in high solid makeup formulations and exhibits surface-active properties which improve pigment dispersion. It decreases air entrapment and particle agglomeration problems. It enhances the application properties of a lotion. It is REACH compliant and listed with AICS, DSL, IECSC, NZIOC, PICCS, CHEMINV, TCSI and TSCA. Shelf life of Generol® 122 N E-16 is 24 months.
