KELISILK

Hydrolyzed Silk. KELISILK by Kelisema acts as a film-former. It is a silk hydrolysate derived from pure silk fibres with low content of salt; contains about 30% of free amino acids most of all are alanine, glycine, serine and tyrosine. Free amino acids and small peptides form an optimum balance of excellent feeling and due to their ability to retain water they form a plastic and protective film on skin giving softness and a distinct feeling of smoothness. KELISILK can be combined with surfactants to reduce the irritating potential. Used in skin and hair treatments like shampoos, rinse-off conditioners, leave-on conditioners, emulsions.
