Dimethicone and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. SeraSilk® PD 73 by KCC Beauty acts as a strong mattifying and an anti-aging agent. It is a mixture of high molecular weight spherical silicone elastomer in 6cS dimethicone fluid. In anti-aging formulations, the powder dispersion blends reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It imparts viscosity to W/O emulsions and enhances spreadability & soft-focus effect of the finished product. It has sebum absorption property and offers a matte, light, dry, silky, smooth, non-greasy and powdery appearance. Moreover, it is cold processable and provides ease of use & good rolling effect to make-up products. SeraSilk® PD 73 finds application in formulating antiperspirants, color cosmetics, skin-care and hair-care products.
