Dimethicone. SeraSense® SF 2 by KCC Silicone acts as an emollient and conditioner. It is a straight chained, low molecular weight and low viscosity polydimethylsiloxane, has close evaporation profile to that of D5. It offers non-skin cooling vaporization, non-flammability, tantalizing sensory and excellent spread quality. Moreover, it is a good non-VOC cosmetic solvent and leaves the skin soft & silky. SeraSense® SF 2 finds application in formulating antiperspirants, color cosmetics and hair-, sun- and skin-care products.
